TEHN

With more than 300 participants, The Evolution of Here and Now (TEHN) was a decade-long project starting in 2016 that examined how our relationship, morals and limits with technology would transform individually and as a society. Participants were invited to reflect on any personal fears and consider how far they would be willing to go in trusting technology, concluding with a written letter to themselves where they were asked to describe in detail the role that technology had in their life in 2016.

These letters were sealed for ten years and mailed back in 2026, inviting participants to reflect once again on their relationship with technology and how it evolved. Although ten years is only a fragment of time, my hopes with this piece were that people would begin to analyze more closely the influence technology has on their daily lives.
